Athlete Guide
Packet Pick-up:
Pre-race packet pick-up will be offered for participants on Saturday, April 12, 2025. Location TBD
If you are not able to pick-up your packet, someone else can pick it up for you. There will be a LIMITED last minute bib pick-up on race morning starting at 7:00am near the start line. This race morning bib pick-up is ONLY for extenuating circumstances. If you must pick-up your race packet on race morning, plan ahead and arrive early since we will have very limited staff to help with check-in race morning. We will not be responsible for you missing your start time if you arrive last minute and are still waiting in line.
Virtual Runners and Kids Challenge Runners who did not pick up their packets will be mailed the week following the live race (April 13, 2025).

Riverfront Park, in the Central Plaza between the Howard St Bridge & Spokane Pavilion (Havermale Island, 574 N Howard St, Spokane, WA 99201)

*Runners are not allowed in this start wave. Anyone needing more than 3.5 hours to complete race MUST SIGN-UP FOR THIS WAVE.
**There is a 3 hour time limit for the Half Marathon - Runners (roughly 14min / mile).
All starts will be mass starts with chip timing.

Parking:
Plenty of street parking near the park. Meters are free on Sunday. Paid parking is also available at River Park Square parking garage and surrounding paid lots.

Aid Stations / Nutrition:
There will be SIX aid stations for the Half Marathon, TWO aid stations for the 10K and ONE aid stations for the 5k. Participants will cross aid stations roughly every 2-3 miles on the course. Aid stations will have water and sports drink GU gels. Please do not litter on course and dispose of your trash at the aid stations.

Runner Safety:
This event takes place on trails and city sidewalks. There are a few road crossing with volunteers but please be alert. Please follow all traffic laws at all street crossings. Your safety in crossing streets is your responsibility!

Gear Check:
We will have an athlete only gear check corral in which athletes will drop their bag at a pre-labeled area based on their bib number. Volunteers will staff the entry and exit of the gear check area to make sure bags match the bib number of each runner entering and exiting. Bib numbers will be required to enter and exit the gear check corral. For safety purposes volunteers may ask to look inside of gear bags.

Toilets:
Toilets and hand washing area will be available at the Start / Finish location. Each aid station will also have a portable toilet located at it.

Awards:
Awards will be distributed for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall for Male and Female for each distance. Age group awards will also be provided for 1st place in age groups, each gender. Age groups will be 1-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.
If you are not able to stay for your award, they can be shipped to you for a $10 shipping and handling fee.

Finish Line:
There will be sponsor booths near the finisher area as well as food trucks. All finishers will receive a finisher medal, bottle of water, snacks, coffee and something sweet. Finishers may take a photo at the photo backdrop after their finish. Race Swag will be available to purchase as well.

Virtual:
The Virtual Run sign up is available between August 21, 2024 - April 13, 2025. Virtual runners complete and submit their information anytime between April 12 - April 19, 2025 to the virtual results page located here. Virtual runners will have their items mailed to them shortly after the live race (April 13, 2025).
